Diagnostics of cables and residual lifetime

In recent years we have developed a method for assessing the current state of low voltage cables and prediction of their residual life in industrial plants. The method is recommended by SÚJB and it is currently being gradually introduced at the Czech nuclear power plants in the field of controlled aging cables and extending of their operations over the projected limit. Further, a method for measurement of partial discharges on high voltage cables is being developed
